A delegation of the Thaqif people asked the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) about how to bathe in cold weather, as their land was cold. In response, the Prophet said that he poured water thrice over his head. This hadith is a reminder for us to perform wudu' and ghusl properly even if it is difficult due to external factors such as cold weather or lack of resources. It also teaches us that we should be humble when asking questions and seek knowledge from those who are more knowledgeable than us, such as our elders or religious scholars.
