Follow example set by beloved prophet, Use three handfuls of water when performing ablutions for prayer or other religious activities

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's instructions on how to perform ablution. It was reported by Jubair b. Mut'im that people were arguing amongst themselves in front of the Messenger of Allah regarding bathing and washing their heads in different ways. In response, the Messenger said that he poured three handfuls of water over his head when performing ablution.
