Limited Water Usage for Ablution and Bathing

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took a bath and performed ablution with a limited amount of water due to sexual intercourse.

Safina reported: The Messenger of Allah took a bath with one Sa' of water because of sexual intercourse and performed ablution with one Mudd.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ، - قَالَ أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ، - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُغَسِّلُهُ الصَّاعُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ وَيُوَضِّؤُهُ الْمُدُّ
