QUICK LESSONS:
Take a bath after having sexual intercourse
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'A'isha and it speaks about taking a bath after having sexual intercourse. This is an important ritual in Islam known as ghusl which is done to purify oneself spiritually and physically. It is important to note that both partners should take a bath together from the same vessel if possible as this was done by Prophet Muhammad himself with his wife A'isha. This act of taking a bath together also symbolizes the closeness between two partners in marriage and shows that they are not ashamed of each other's bodies or their intimacy. It also serves as an example for couples to follow in order to maintain cleanliness and purity within their relationship.
