EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly after engaging in sexual intercourse. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to be very particular about his personal hygiene and this hadith serves as an example for us to follow. He washed himself with a large amount of water from a vessel measuring seven to eight seers, which is equivalent to approximately 40-50 liters of water. This shows us that it is important for us to take care of our bodies and keep them clean at all times, especially after engaging in activities that may cause dirt or impurity on our bodies such as sexual intercourse. We should also strive to maintain good hygiene habits by washing ourselves regularly with soap and water or using other methods such as antiseptic wipes or sprays if necessary.
