Sahih Muslim 317c (Book 3, Hadith 46) #7894
Shaking Off Water Instead of Rubbing with Towel

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was given a towel but instead of using it to dry himself, he shook off the water from his body.

Ibn Abbas narrated It on the authority of Maimuna that the Messenger of Allah was given a towel, but he did not rub (his body) with it, but he did like this with water, i. e. he shook it off.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice when he was given a towel. Instead of using it to rub his body, he chose to shake off the water from his body. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions and use resources wisely. We should not waste things unnecessarily or take more than what we need. We can also learn that even small acts can have great significance in our lives and that we should strive for excellence in all aspects of life, no matter how small they may seem.

The Prophet Muhammad's example shows us how important it is to be mindful and conscious about our actions, even if they are seemingly insignificant ones like shaking off water instead of rubbing with a towel. It teaches us that every action has an impact on our lives and those around us, so we must strive for excellence in all aspects of life no matter how small they may seem.
