Compassion During Menstruation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed kindness and compassion to his wives when they were menstruating.

'A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us (amongst the wives of the Holy Prophet) menstruated, the Messenger of Allah asked her to tie a waist-wrapper over her (body) and then embraced her.

QUICK LESSONS:
Show love & care for one another
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'A'isha speaks of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) kindness and compassion towards his wives when they were menstruating. He would ask them to tie a waist-wrapper over their body and then embrace them. This shows that even during a time of physical discomfort for women, the Prophet Muhammad was still able to show love and care for them. This is an important lesson for us all; no matter what situation we are in or how uncomfortable we may feel, it is important to show love and compassion towards one another.
