This hadith is about the kindness and mercy that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed to a child who urinated on him. The narrator of this hadith is Umm Qais daughter of Mihsan. She came to the Messenger of Allah with her child who was not yet weaned and placed him in his lap. To her surprise, her child urinated in his lap but instead of getting angry or scolding the child, he simply sprayed water over it as an act of mercy and kindness towards both mother and son. This hadith teaches us that even when faced with difficult situations we should remain kind and merciful towards others just like our beloved Prophet did in this situation. It also teaches us that children should be treated with love no matter what they do as they are still learning how to behave properly in society.
