QUICK LESSONS:
Speak kindly or remain silent; Treat your neighbor with kindness and courtesy
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Huraira, teaches us that believing in Allah and the Last Day requires us to be kind to our neighbors. We must use kind words when speaking to them, or if we cannot think of anything nice to say then it is better for us to remain silent. Additionally, we must also show courtesy towards our neighbors by treating them with respect. These values are important for all Muslims as they demonstrate how we can live peacefully together while still following Islamic teachings.
