QUICK LESSONS:
Follow all Islamic practices even if they seem small ; Respect for religious rituals ; Be clean & pure ; Have faith & devotion towards Allah SWT .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of wiping over his socks, forehead and turban. It is a Sunnah that Muslims follow when performing ablution for prayer. When performing ablution, Muslims must wash their hands up to the wrists three times, rinse their mouth three times with water and cleanse their nose by sniffing water into it then blowing it out three times. They must also wash their face three times from the hairline to the chin and from one ear to another as well as washing each arm up to the elbows three times. After this they should wipe over their head once starting at the front of the head then moving back towards the neck before wiping both ears with wet fingers or a wet cloth. Finally they should wipe over both feet up to ankles starting with right foot first then left foot second. In addition to this Sunnah practice of wiping over socks, forehead and turban mentioned in this hadith can be done if one has already put on these items before performing ablution but not after taking them off again until after completing ablution again properly without them on if needed for prayer or other religious activities such as Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage etc.. This hadith teaches us that we should follow all Islamic practices even if they seem small because every action counts in Islam no matter how small it may seem at first glance.
