Starting from the Right Side

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a habit of starting from the right side in all his activities.

'A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah loved to start from the right-hand side in his every act i. e. in wearing shoes, in combing (his hair) and in performing ablution.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي شَأْنِهِ كُلِّهِ فِي نَعْلَيْهِ وَتَرَجُّلِهِ وَطُهُورِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his exemplary habits and manners. One of these habits was to start from the right side in all his activities, such as wearing shoes, combing hair and performing ablution. This is an important lesson for us to learn, as it teaches us to be consistent in our actions and strive for excellence in everything we do. It also shows us that even small details can have a big impact on our lives if we are mindful of them. We should strive to emulate this example set by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
