Sahih Muslim 247b (Book 2, Hadith 49) #7753
The Day of Judgment and its Rewards

SUMMARY: This hadith speaks of the Day of Judgment, when people will be judged according to their deeds and actions. Those who have done good deeds will be rewarded with a special mark that will allow them to enter Paradise. However, those who have done wrong will not be allowed to enter Paradise and will be prevented from meeting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of Allah said: My people would come to me on the Cistern and I would drive away persons (from it) just as a person drives away other people's camels from his camels. They (the hearers) said: Apostle of Allah, would you recognize us? He replied: Yea, you would have a mark which other people will not have. You would come to me with a white blaze on your foreheads and white marks on your feet because of the traces of ablution. A group among you would be prevented from coming to me, and they would not meet me, and I would say: O my Lord, they are my companions. Upon this an angel would reply to me saying: Do you know what these people did after you.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the Day of Judgment, when all people will come before Allah for judgement. On this day, those who have done good deeds in their lives on earth would receive a special mark that would allow them to enter Paradise. This mark is described as a white blaze on their foreheads and white marks on their feet due to performing ablutions regularly in life. However, those who have committed wrongdoings or sins in life would not receive this mark and thus they would not be able to meet Prophet Muhammad or enter Paradise. Therefore, it is important for us all to strive towards doing good deeds so that we can receive Allah's mercy on the Day of Judgement.
