Attend funerals respectfully , Listen carefully when around elders so one can learn more about their faith in an appropriate manner .

This hadith is about a funeral procession for Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas that was passed by 'A'isha's residence. The narrator Salim, who was a freed slave of Mahri, heard a hadith from her that was narrated by the Prophet (ﷺ). This shows us how important it is to attend funerals and pay respects to those who have passed away as well as how important it is to listen to what our elders have to say in order to learn more about our faith and religion. It also teaches us respect for those who are no longer with us and reminds us that we should always be mindful when speaking or listening around others so we can learn more about our faith in an appropriate manner.
