Praising Allah with Takbir

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say Takbir when praising Allah and bowing and raising his head from it.

Narrated Abu Huraira: When the Prophet said, "Sami'a l-lahu liman hamidah," (Allah heard those who sent praises to Him), he would say, "Rabbana wa laka l-hamd". On bowing and raising his head from it the Prophet used to say Takbir. He also used to say Takbir on rising after the two prostrations. .
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ إِذَا قَالَ ‏"‏ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ إِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ يُكَبِّرُ، وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ قَالَ ‏"‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of praising Allah. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said "Sami'a l-lahu liman hamidah," which means "Allah heard those who sent praises to Him", he would say "Rabbana wa laka l-hamd" which means "Our Lord, all praise is for You". He also used to say 'Takbir' on bowing and raising his head from it as well as on rising after two prostrations. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to praise Allah in our prayers and show gratitude for His blessings. We should also use 'Takbir' during prayer as a way of expressing our love for Him.
