Sahih al-Bukhari 777 (Book 10, Hadith 172) #752
Reciting Prayers in Zuhr and 'Asr

SUMMARY: Khabbab, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was asked if the Prophet used to recite in Zuhr and 'Asr prayers, to which he replied affirmatively. He knew this by observing the movement of his beard.

Narrated Abu Ma'mar: We said to Khabbab "Did Allah's Messenger used to recite in Zuhr and 'Asr prayers?" He replied in the affirmative. We said, "How did you come to know about it?" He said, "By the movement of his beard".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pay attention while reciting your prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of reciting prayers during Zuhr and 'Asr times. Khabbab was a companion of Prophet Muhammad who noticed that he used to recite during these two times by observing the movement of his beard. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to recite their prayers with full concentration and devotion as it is an act that pleases Allah SWT. It also teaches us that we should pay attention to even small details when performing our religious duties as they can be signs from Allah SWT guiding us towards righteousness.
