Have strong faith in Allah's teachings; Pray regularly; Worship sincerely; Stay away from sinning; Be righteous

This hadith speaks to the power of faith in overcoming evil prompting. It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked about evil prompting and he replied that it is pure faith. This means that if one has strong faith in Allah and His teachings, then they will be able to resist any kind of temptation or negative thoughts from entering their mind or heart.
