QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous with your wealth for the sake of Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about a man named Hakim b. Hizam who was very generous with his wealth, both before and after he embraced Islam. He freed one hundred slaves and donated one hundred camels for the sake of Allah during the state of ignorance, then again did so after embracing Islam when he came to meet Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This hadith teaches us that generosity is an important virtue in Islam, especially when it is done in the name of Allah as it will be rewarded greatly by Him on Judgment Day. It also shows us that even if we have done something wrong or bad in our past, we can still make up for it by doing good deeds afterwards as long as we are sincere with our intentions to please God Almighty.
