Sahih al-Bukhari 772 (Book 10, Hadith 166) #746
Reciting the Quran in Prayers

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of reciting the Quran in prayers and how it should be done.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Qur'an is recited in every prayer and in those prayers in which Allah's Messenger recited aloud for us, we recite aloud in the same prayers for you; and the prayers in which the Prophet recited quietly, we recite quietly. If you recite "Al-Fatiha" only it is sufficient but if you recite something else in addition, it is better.

It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that one should recite from the Quran during every prayer, and if they are able to recite more than just Al-Fatiha, then it is even better. This shows us how important it is to read from Allah's book during our prayers as a way to connect with Him and seek His guidance. It also teaches us that we should strive to learn more verses from the Quran so we can recite them in our prayers for greater reward.
