Disobedience Leads to Damnation

SUMMARY: Satan disobeyed God and was doomed to Hell.

A'mash narrated this hadith with the same chain of transmitters, with this change of words that he (the Satan) said: I disobeyed and I am doomed to Hell.
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ فَعَصَيْتُ فَلِيَ النَّارُ

This hadith is about the consequences of disobeying God. It tells us that if we disobey God, we will be doomed to Hell. The hadith is narrated by A'mash, who heard it from the same chain of transmitters with a slight change in words. According to this hadith, Satan disobeyed God and was sent to Hell as punishment for his disobedience. This teaches us that disobedience has serious consequences and should be avoided at all costs.
