EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of reciting longer surahs during the maghrib prayer. It was narrated by Marwan bin Al-Hakam and Zaid bin Thabit. In this hadith, Zaid asked Marwan why he was reciting shorter surahs during maghrib prayer when he heard that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite longer ones. This shows us that it is important to recite long surahs during maghrib prayer as it was done by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. We should also strive to follow his example in our daily lives and practice what we learn from him. Additionally, this hadith teaches us that we should always be open to learning new things from others and not be afraid of asking questions if something doesn't seem right or if we don't understand something fully.
