Hadith Narrated by Umayya b. Bistam

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) narrated by Umayya b. Bistam on the authority of Tamim ad-Dari.

Umayya b. Bistam narrates the same hadith of the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) on the authority of Tamim ad-Dari.
وَحَدَّثَنِي أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ - حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ - حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، سَمِعَهُ وَهُوَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ بِمِثْلِهِ

This hadith is about a narration from the Messenger of Allah which was passed down to us through two narrators; Umayya b. Bistam and Tamim ad-Dari. It is important to note that this hadith has been passed down through reliable sources and it serves as an example for us to follow in our daily lives as Muslims in order to gain rewards from Allah SWT in this life and hereafter. The teachings found in this hadith are based on Islamic values such as faithfulness, honesty, trustworthiness and respect for others which are all essential components for a successful society or community living together harmoniously with each other regardless of their differences or backgrounds.
