Safety of Muslims

SUMMARY: A Muslim is someone who does not harm other Muslims with their words or actions.

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that he heard the (Holy Prophet) say: A Muslim is he from whose hand and tongue the Muslims are safe.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، - قَالَ عَبْدٌ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، - عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ
