Learning & Teaching the Quran

SUMMARY: The best people are those who learn and teach the Quran.

This hadith is transmitted by Muhammad b. Hatim on the authority of Abu Ayyub Ansari.
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، وَأَبُوهُ، عُثْمَانُ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a reminder to Muslims that learning and teaching the Quran is an important part of being a good Muslim. It encourages us to take time out from our busy lives to learn about our religion and share what we have learned with others so that they can benefit from it too. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was emphasizing how important it is for us to be knowledgeable about our faith in order for us to be able to practice it properly. He also wanted us to spread this knowledge so that more people can benefit from it as well as help strengthen their faith in Allah SWT.
