The Precedence of Allah's Mercy

SUMMARY: Allah's mercy is greater than His anger and this has been written in a book that is kept with Him over the Throne.

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger saying, "Before Allah created the creations, He wrote a Book (wherein He has written): My Mercy has preceded my Anger". and that (Book) is written with Him over the Throne".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be merciful towards others
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the greatness of Allah's mercy. It tells us that before creating anything, Allah wrote a book in which He wrote that His mercy would always come before His anger. This means that no matter what we do, if we turn to Him and ask for forgiveness, He will forgive us and show us mercy. This hadith also reminds us to be merciful to others as well, since it is an attribute of Allah Himself. We should strive to be kind and forgiving towards those around us, just as our Lord is kind and forgiving towards us.
