Sahih al-Bukhari 7464 (Book 97, Hadith 90) #7167
Being Firm in Invoking Allah

SUMMARY: We should be firm and confident when asking Allah for something, and not leave it to His will.

Narrated Anas: Allah's Messenger said, "Whenever anyone of you invoke Allah for something, he should be firm in his asking, and he should not say: 'If You wish, give me'. for none can compel Allah to do something against His Will".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be firm and confident when invoking Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of being firm and confident when asking Allah for something. We should not leave it to His will, but rather ask Him with confidence that He will grant us what we are asking for. It is important to remember that no one can compel Allah to do something against His will, so we must trust in Him and have faith that He knows best. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this lesson through his words narrated by Anas ibn Malik.
