The Patience of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah is the most patient and forgiving, even when people ascribe children to Him.

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari: The Prophet said, "None is more patient than Allah against the harmful and annoying words He hears (from the people): They ascribe children to Him, yet He bestows upon them health and provision .
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ مَا أَحَدٌ أَصْبَرُ عَلَى أَذًى سَمِعَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ، يَدَّعُونَ لَهُ الْوَلَدَ، ثُمَّ يُعَافِيهِمْ وَيَرْزُقُهُمْ

This hadith speaks about the patience and forgiveness of Allah. Despite people ascribing children to Him, He still bestows upon them health and provision. This hadith teaches us that no matter what we do or say, Allah will always be patient with us and forgive us for our mistakes. It also reminds us that all our health and provision comes from Allah alone, so we should be grateful for His blessings. We should also strive to emulate His patience in our own lives by being forgiving towards others who may have wronged us in some way.
