This hadith speaks of a situation in which Prophet Muhammad's wife, Aisha, was slandered by people. In response to this, the Prophet asked his companions what they suggested he do about it. He then allowed her to go home with a slave accompanying her. An Ansari man then spoke up and said that it was wrong for them to speak about such things as it was a great lie.
