Follow teachings given by Prophet Muhammad PBUH through Quran .

This hadith is about a conversation between Ibn 'Abbas and 'Abdur-Rahman bin Auf, in which Ibn 'Abbas was teaching Qur'an to Abdur-Rahman. During Umar’s last Hajj, Abdur-Rahman told Ibn Abbas that someone had said that if Chief of the Believers died, they would give their oath of allegiance to someone else. In response, Umar said he would stand up and warn those who wanted to usurp people’s rights. However, Ibn Abbas advised him not to do so as it was during Hajj season when many people gathered from different places and may not understand his statement properly. He suggested waiting until they reached Medina where they could meet companions of Allah’s Messenger from Muhajirin and Ansar who would understand his statement better. When they reached Medina, Umar addressed the people in a Khutba sermon reminding them that Allah sent Prophet Muhammad with truth and revealed Quran which included verse on stoning adulterers to death. The essence of this Hadith is that one should be careful when speaking out against injustice as it can be misinterpreted by others; instead one should wait for an appropriate time or place where their message can be understood correctly by knowledgeable people before speaking out against injustice or wrongdoings. It also reminds us about the importance of following teachings given by Prophet Muhammad PBUH through Quran as it contains truth for all mankind regardless of time or place.
