Follow the example of the prophet by detaching ourselves from material possessions

This hadith is about the Prophet's discouragement of wearing gold rings. The Prophet himself wore a gold ring but then threw it away and said he would never put it on again. He encouraged others to do the same and they followed his example. This hadith teaches us that we should not be too attached to material possessions or follow trends just because everyone else is doing so. We should instead focus on our spiritual growth and development as well as helping others in need.
