Sahih al-Bukhari 7228 (Book 94, Hadith 3) #6942
The Importance of Giving Away Wealth

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that it is important to give away wealth and not keep it for oneself.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If I had gold equal to the mountain of Uhud, I would love that, before three days had passed, not a single Dinar thereof remained with me if I found somebody to accept it excluding some amount that I would keep for the payment of my debts'.'

QUICK LESSONS:
Give away your wealth generously and responsibly.

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us about the importance of giving away our wealth. He said that if he had a mountain of gold, he would give it all away within three days, except for a small amount to pay off his debts. This teaches us that we should not be too attached to our possessions and instead use them to help others in need. We should also remember that we are responsible for paying off any debts we have before giving away our wealth. By doing so, we can show generosity and kindness towards others while still fulfilling our obligations.
