EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once offered his Zuhr prayer but only performed two Rak’ats instead of four. He was reminded that he had only offered two Rak’ats and so he completed his prayer with another two Rak’ats followed by a Taslim and then performed two prostrations. This incident shows us how important it is to be mindful when performing our prayers as Muslims. We should always strive to offer our prayers in full concentration and focus on what we are doing so as not to miss any part or make any mistakes while praying.
