The Importance of Fair Judgement

SUMMARY: It is important to not judge between two people when one is angry, as it can lead to an unfair judgement.

Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra: Abu Bakra wrote to his son who was in Sijistan (Sistan today): 'Do not judge between two persons when you are angry, for I heard the Prophet saying, "A judge should not judge between two persons while he is in an angry mood".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for fairness and justice when making decisions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of fairness and justice in decision making. It teaches us that we should not make decisions while we are angry, as this can lead to an unfair judgement. We should always strive for fairness and justice in our decisions, no matter how difficult the situation may be. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that a judge should never make a decision while they are in an angry mood, as this could lead to injustice and unfairness towards one or both parties involved. We must always strive for fairness and justice when making decisions, even if it means taking a step back from the situation until we have calmed down enough to make a fair judgement.
