Obey your leader & follow instructions from prophet & ruler appointed by him .

This hadith explains that obedience to the prophet and the ruler appointed by him is equivalent to obedience of Allah. It emphasizes on following the instructions of both, as it is a way of showing submission towards God. The hadith also implies that if one follows these two, then they will be rewarded in this world and in hereafter.
