The Hour and the Women of Daus

SUMMARY: The Hour of Judgement will not come until the women of the Daus tribe move their buttocks while going around an idol they used to worship in pre-Islamic times.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "The Hour will not be established till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa". Dhi-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daus tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be aware and mindful about our actions, Repent for any wrongdoings, Avoid worshipping idols

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the coming of the Day of Judgement. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that Allah's Messenger said that it will not come until a certain event happens. This event is when women from a particular tribe called 'Daus' move their buttocks while going around an idol they used to worship in pre Islamic times called 'Dhi Al Khalasa'. This hadith teaches us that we should be aware and mindful about our actions as we do not know when judgement day will come. We should also be careful about worshipping idols as this was something done before Islam which is now forbidden.
