Honoring the Prophet's Wife

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of respecting and honoring the Prophet's wife, 'Aisha.

Narrated Abu Wail: 'Ammar stood on the pulpit at Kufa and mentioned 'Aisha and her coming (to Busra) and said, "She is the wife of your Prophet in this world and in the Hereafter, but you people are being put to test in this issue".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي غَنِيَّةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَامَ عَمَّارٌ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْكُوفَةِ، فَذَكَرَ عَائِشَةَ وَذَكَرَ مَسِيرَهَا وَقَالَ إِنَّهَا زَوْجَةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ، وَلَكِنَّهَا مِمَّا ابْتُلِيتُمْ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of respecting and honoring 'Aisha, who was a wife of Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated by Abu Wail that Ammar stood on a pulpit in Kufa and mentioned 'Aisha and her journey to Busra. He said that she is the wife of your prophet in this world and in hereafter but people are being tested on this issue. This hadith teaches us to respect all wives of our beloved prophet as they are respected by Allah himself. We should also remember that we will be tested for how we treat them so it is important to always show respect towards them no matter what situation arises. We should also remember that Allah will reward us for our good deeds if we pass these tests with flying colors.
