The Significance of Seeing the Prophet in a Dream

SUMMARY: Seeing the Prophet in a dream is a sign of truth and not from Satan.

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Who ever sees me (in a dream) then he indeed has seen the truth, as Satan cannot appear in my shape".
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏مَنْ رَآنِي فَقَدْ رَأَى الْحَقَّ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَتَكَوَّنُنِي‏"‏‏.‏
