Helping Fellow Muslims

SUMMARY: A Muslim should not oppress another Muslim and should help fulfill their needs.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Messenger said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. So he should neither oppress him nor hand him over to an oppressor. And whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs".
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ سَالِمًا، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لاَ يَظْلِمُهُ، وَلاَ يُسْلِمُهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ، كَانَ اللَّهُ فِي حَاجَتِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of helping fellow Muslims. It teaches us that we should not oppress other Muslims and instead help them with their needs. We are all brothers in Islam and it is our duty to look out for each other. Allah will reward us if we do good deeds for our fellow believers. The Prophet Muhammad also taught us that if we help someone in need, Allah will also help us when we are in need. This hadith encourages us to be kind and generous towards one another as this is what Allah expects from us as believers of Islam.
