Be compassionate towards those who are less fortunate than you; strive towards freeing slaves whenever possible as an act of kindness and mercy towards them; offer help when you can even if it means sacrificing your own wealth or possessions in order to do so .

This hadith is about a man from the Ansar who owned a slave, known as a Mudabbar. He was so poor that he did not have any other property besides this one slave. When news of this reached Allah's Messenger, he offered to buy the slave himself in order to help out this man in need. Nu'aim bin An-Nahham then bought the slave for 800 dirhams instead. This story teaches us about compassion and ownership; it shows us how important it is to be kind and generous towards those who are less fortunate than us, even if it means sacrificing our own wealth or possessions in order to do so.
