Sahih al-Bukhari 6912 (Book 87, Hadith 50) #6644
Compensation for Accidental Deaths and Buried Treasures

SUMMARY: There is no compensation for accidental deaths, and one-fifth of buried treasures should be given to the state.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "There is no Diya for persons killed by animals or for the one who has been killed accidentally by falling into a well or for the one killed in a mine. And one-fifth of Rikaz (treasures buried before the Islamic era) is to be given to the state".

QUICK LESSONS:
Take responsibility for your actions , Share what you have with others .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that there is no compensation or diya for people who are killed by animals or in an accident such as falling into a well or being killed in a mine. Additionally, one-fifth of any buried treasure found should be given to the state. This teaches us that we must take responsibility for our actions and not expect to receive any form of compensation if something goes wrong due to our negligence. It also teaches us that we must share what we have with others and not keep it all to ourselves.

The Prophet Muhammad was teaching his followers about justice and fairness when he said this hadith. He wanted them to understand that they should not expect anything from Allah if they were negligent in their actions but instead accept the consequences of their mistakes without expecting anything in return. He also wanted them to understand the importance of sharing what they have with others so everyone can benefit from it equally.
