Following the Prophet in Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of following the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) in prayer and how everyone waited for him to prostrate before they did.

Narrated Al-Bara: (and he was not a liar) When Allah's Messenger said, "Sami'a l-lahu liman hamidah" none of us bent his back (for prostration) till the Prophet prostrated and then we would prostrate after him.

QUICK LESSONS:
Wait for your leader before taking any action , Follow your leaders example
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of following the example of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in prayer. It is narrated by Al-Bara that when Allah's Messenger said "Sami'a l-lahu liman hamidah" none of his companions bent their backs for prostration until he himself prostrated first. This shows us that we should always follow our beloved prophet's example and not rush ahead without waiting for him to lead us in prayer. We should also take this as a lesson that we should always be patient and wait for our leader's guidance before taking any action. Furthermore, it teaches us that we must have faith and trust in Allah’s messenger as he will never lead us astray or give wrong advice.
