Sahih al-Bukhari 682 (Book 10, Hadith 76) #656
Leading Prayer Despite Emotions

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed Abu Bakr to lead the prayer even though he was a soft-hearted man who would be overwhelmed by his emotions while reciting the Quran.

Narrated Hamza bin 'Abdullah: My father said, "When Allah's Messenger became seriously ill, he was told about the prayer. He said, 'Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer'. 'Aisha said, 'Abu Bakr is a soft-hearted man and he would be overpowered by his weeping if he recited the Qur'an'. He said to them, 'Tell him (Abu Bakr) to lead the prayer. The same reply was given to him. He said again, 'Tell him to lead the prayer. You (women) are the companions of Joseph".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do one's duty despite difficulty, Trust Allah during hard times

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad instructed Abu Bakr to lead the prayer despite being a soft-hearted man who would be overwhelmed by his emotions while reciting the Quran. It teaches us that we should not let our emotions get in the way of fulfilling our duties and obligations, especially when it comes to religious matters. We should strive to do what is right and just, no matter how difficult it may seem at first. Even if we are feeling emotional or overwhelmed, we must still try our best to fulfill our responsibilities as Muslims. This hadith also reminds us of an important lesson from Prophet Yusuf's story - that Allah will always help those who put their trust in Him and strive for righteousness even in difficult times.
