Stoning According to the Tradition of Allah's Messenger

SUMMARY: This hadith is about 'Ali stoning a lady to death according to the tradition of Allah's Messenger.

Narrated Ash-Shu'bi: from 'Ali when the latter stoned a lady to death on a Friday'.Ali said, "I have stoned her according to the tradition of Allah's Messenger ".
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رضى الله عنه حِينَ رَجَمَ الْمَرْأَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ قَدْ رَجَمْتُهَا بِسُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏
