QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other people's property and do not steal anything from anyone even if it's worth less than quarter dinar .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that stealing is a serious crime and should be punished accordingly. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the hand of someone who steals something worth a quarter of a Dinar or more should be cut off. This punishment serves as an example to others, so they will think twice before committing such an act. It also serves as justice for the victim, since their property was taken away from them without their permission. The punishment also shows how seriously Allah takes this sin, since it is one of the few crimes in Islam which has such a severe punishment attached to it. It is important to remember that this punishment only applies if all other conditions are met; if any of these conditions are not fulfilled then the person cannot be punished in this way.
