Sahih al-Bukhari 6768 (Book 85, Hadith 44) #6510
Denying One's Father is Disbelief

SUMMARY: It is wrong to deny one's father and doing so is considered disbelief.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Do not deny your fathers (ie claim to be the sons of persons other than your fathers), and whoever denies his father, is charged with disbelief".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your parents and accept their ancestry.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that it is wrong to deny our fathers, or claim to be the sons of persons other than our fathers. This means that we should not refuse or reject the fact that someone is our ancestor, even if we do not like them or agree with their beliefs. To do so would be considered disbelief, which goes against the teachings of Islam. We must accept and respect our parents and ancestors regardless of what they believe in order to remain true believers in Allah SWT.
