The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that these shares should be given to those who are entitled to receive them, and whatever remains should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased. This hadith teaches us that we must fulfill our obligations towards others, especially when it comes to inheritance and other matters related with death. We must also ensure that we treat everyone fairly and equally when distributing wealth or possessions after someone has passed away. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us of our responsibility towards our family members even after they have passed away; we must make sure their rights are fulfilled even if they cannot do so themselves anymore.
