Love and Affection of the Prophet ﷺ

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ showed his love and affection to an Ansari woman and her children.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: An Ansari woman came to the Prophet in the company of her children, and the Prophet said to her, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, you are the most beloved people to me!" And he repeated the statement thrice.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ مَعَهَا أَوْلاَدٌ لَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لأَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَهَا ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the love and affection that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ showed to an Ansari woman who came to him with her children. He said three times, “By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, you are the most beloved people to me!” This shows us how much he cared for all people, especially those who were close to him. He was a kind man who loved everyone equally regardless of their background or status in society. We can learn from this hadith that we should show love and kindness towards others just as the Prophet ﷺ did. We should also strive to be more compassionate towards those around us so that we can create a better world for everyone.
