EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to take an oath using a specific phrase. This phrase was “No, by Him who turns the hearts”. This phrase is a reminder of Allah’s power and control over all things in this world and beyond. It is also a reminder of His mercy and kindness towards us as He has given us free will to choose our own paths in life. By taking this oath, we are reminded that Allah is always watching over us and guiding us towards what is best for us even if we don’t realize it at first. We should strive to make decisions that are pleasing to Allah so that He may turn our hearts away from evil deeds and guide them towards righteousness instead.
