Garden of Paradise Between House and Pulpit

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that there is a garden from the gardens of Paradise between his house and pulpit, and his pulpit is over a lake-fount.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "Between my house and my pulpit there is a garden from amongst the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit is over my Lake-Fount".
حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمِنْبَرِي عَلَى حَوْضِي

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that there is a garden from the gardens of Paradise between his house and pulpit, which means that it was very close to him. He also mentioned that his pulpit was over a lake-fount, which could mean either he had an elevated view or it was literally above water. This hadith teaches us about the importance of being close to Allah SWT by being in His presence as much as possible. It also shows us how much value the Prophet ﷺ placed on being near to Allah SWT by having this special garden so close to him. Additionally, it teaches us about the beauty of nature and how we should appreciate its wonders in our lives.
