Sahih al-Bukhari 6581 (Book 81, Hadith 169) #6329
The River Kauthar in Paradise

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ was given a river in Paradise called Kauthar, which had tents made of hollow pearls and smelled of musk.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said: "While I was walking in Paradise (on the night of Mi'raj), I saw a river, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls. I asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?' He said, 'That is the Kauthar which Your Lord has given to you'. Behold! Its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk!" (The sub-narrator, Hudba is in doubt as to the correct expression. )

Be faithful and obedient towards Allah

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's journey to paradise on the night of Miraj. During his journey he saw a river called Kauthar with tents made from hollow pearls on both sides. He asked Gabriel what it was and Gabriel told him that it was a gift from Allah to him. It also smelled like musk. This hadith teaches us that Allah rewards those who are faithful to Him with great blessings and gifts in paradise. It also shows us how powerful Allah is as He can create such beautiful things for His believers to enjoy in paradise. We should strive to be good Muslims so that we can receive these blessings too!
