Sahih al-Bukhari 6561 (Book 81, Hadith 150) #6310
Least Punishment on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, the person who will have the least punishment from amongst those in Hell Fire will be a man whose brain will boil due to an ember placed under his feet.

Narrated An-Nu'man: I heard the Prophet saying, "The person who will have the least punishment from amongst the Hell Fire people on the Day of Resurrection, will be a man under whose arch of the feet a smoldering ember will be placed so that his brain will boil because of it".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to do good deeds and repent for wrongdoings.

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of judgement, when all people are judged for their deeds in this life, there is one person who will receive less punishment than others. This person is described as having an ember placed under his arch of feet which causes his brain to boil. This hadith serves as a reminder that no matter how small our sins may seem, we should strive to do good and repent for our wrongdoings so that we can be saved from any form of punishment on Judgement Day. It also teaches us that even if we do not commit major sins, minor ones can still lead us to severe punishments if they are not repented for and forgiven by Allah SWT.
